History
Built in 1920 by Roger Q. and Nina Heard Astin, The Astin Mansion is a distinguished example of grand 1920s architecture. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the mansion has been thoughtfully preserved as a treasured landmark for the Bryan community.
The Astin family was a prominent Bryan family with deep roots in the area. Following the early passing of her husband and later her children, Nina Heard Astin—known for her generosity and civic involvement—bequeathed the estate to the community through the Nina Heard Astin and Nina Bess Astin Charitable Trust, ensuring its legacy would endure for generations.
In 1998, the mansion was restored and reimagined as a premier special events venue. Since then, it has become one of the most celebrated wedding venues in Bryan–College Station, earning accolades from The Knot, numerous floral awards, and glowing recommendations from couples, companies, and organizations alike.
